International Wagering

Since January 2024, Racecourse Media Group have partnered with Arena Racing Company (ARC) to distribute British and Irish horseracing to wagering operators worldwide. For fixed odds operators, vision and data for British races is packaged together for easy consumption. In Tote markets,  in addition to all the racecourses in Britain, all Irish racecourses also form part of the product offering.

This unified approach means that international wagering operators have the ability to receive all the content they require via a single linear channel, and under a single contract. RMG and ARC, under this ‘GBI Racing’ collaboration, have the flexibility to deliver solutions to international clients be it fixed odds or Tote, and across the various betting channels – retail, online and mobile/apps.

Product overview:

  • Consistent product with 362 days of competitive horseracing per year
  • All 1,468 fixtures in Britain
  • All 395 fixtures in Ireland
  • c. 13,000 betting events
  • Premium quality racing across 3 codes – Flat, jumps and all-weather racing
  • All Group and Graded races in Britain and Ireland
  • Some of the most renowned and respected content in the world
  • Utmost levels of integrity

In addition to the arrangements with ARC, RMG have agreed a separate arrangement with Tabcorp whereby the Australian operator exclusively distributes RMG content to wagering operators throughout Australia and New Zealand.

International Non-Wagering Distribution

Racecourse Media Group manages the non-betting distribution rights to 35 British racecourses and all 26 Irish racecourses, as well as representing the rights of Dubai Racing Club and its season at Meydan and Bahrain Turf Club and its international season.

RMG’s most significant territory is the Middle East, where it enjoys a long and valued partnership with the Dubai Racing Channel, which broadcasts the Racing TV channel as well as ITV “World Feed” days. Abu Dhabi and Qatar are other territories where the RMG portfolio has proved popular.

For the rest of the world, working with its appointed agency, HBA Media, RMG’s biggest days can be seen in around 130 countries via 30 broadcasters, including the likes of Fox Sports (US), ESPN (LATAM) and SuperSport (Africa).

RMG has teamed up with HBA to create Crown Jewels Racing (CJR), which is the broadcast package of the best horseracing in the world. By pooling HBA and RMG’s rights, the package includes seven RMG events, plus the likes of Royal Ascot, Melbourne Cup, US Triple Crown, Hong Kong International Races and the Arc, all spaced evenly throughout the year. Broadcasters can now tell the full narrative of the year and are taking events they otherwise wouldn’t have.
