Raceday TV and RaceiQ – Racecourse Media Group’s (RMG) industry-leading fan engagement products for horseracing – have both been shortlisted in the SportsPro Media Awards 2026.
Raceday TV has been nominated in the Best in Fan Engagement category, while RaceiQ, developed in partnership with leading sports data and analytics company Ellipse, has been shortlisted for Best Use of Data in Media.
Launched in July 2021, Raceday TV has become one of horseracing’s most influential digital channels, generating more than 1.7 billion video views, 34 million engagements and a combined audience of more than 813,225 followers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
Clive Cottrell, Director of Marketing at RMG, said:
“The channel has focused on bringing racing to new and existing audiences through engaging, authentic and accessible content. This nomination reflects the creativity, passion and hard work of the entire Raceday TV team, led so brilliantly by Frankie Foster, and highlights the success of a fan-first approach that continues to connect more people with the sport.”
RaceiQ’s impact across the sport since its launch in 2023 has also been recognised. In partnership with Ellipse, we have created a product that is transforming how racing performance is analysed and understood, providing deeper insight for broadcasters, participants and fans. This recognition is testament to the innovation behind RaceiQ and the growing role data and technology are playing in enhancing the sport.”
